Updates

On August 29-30th, 2009, a few of the kenshi from Industry Sheriff branch flew to Portland, Oregon for the North American West Coast Gasshuku 2009. The event was held in Tigard, a quiet town just outside Portland. The students enjoyed the green landscape and the clean, fresh air while studying and training with various instructors from the United States, Canada, and the sensei from WSKO Japan. The special instructor from Japan this time was Master Kiyoshi Makino. He has trained under Kaiso, Doshin So, and is currently the Nishijin Branch Master in Japan as well as the Vice Representative of Kongo Zen Sohonzan Shorinji. Since he has many years of experience with Shorinji Kempo, the kenshi had an interesting time listening to his stories of Kaiso.
